Structured and playful: this is how Axel perceives his teaching method!

Axel started practicing skiing for regional and international competitions (FIS), during which he earned a few rewards. He then arrived to Tignes thanks to his family and particularly likes the resort’s long slope of Grattalu for teaching, but also for his own pleasure.

Axel, who comes from Draguignan (Var), has been teaching competition and snowboarding to children in this resort for five years in French, English, and in Italian, and still enjoys this occupation! Before anything else, he became a ski instructor because of his passion for teaching skiing and snowboarding, two activities that he loves, but also for his passion for the mountain, where he is lucky enough to work everyday, surrounded by fabulous landscapes. His method? Axel provides structured and meticulous lessons and makes them playful; in order to improve, you need above all to learn in a good atmosphere and to take pleasure in what you are doing!

In a general way, his favourite slopes are the ones used for World Cups events, such as Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany, Kitzbühel and Solden in Austria, Levi in Finland and Bellevarde in Val d'Isère.

Although Axel practices an activity that he loves during winter, this is also the case in summer. Actually, this instructor alternates his activities; according to the season, he works with the sea and the snow, so that he is guaranteed to always makes the most of his environment, whatever the time of year!
