Before anything else, skiing is for Sébastien a moment of sharing in a magical setting!

Sébastien Gardy teaches off-piste skiing. He comes from the Pyrenees and in addition to his mother tongue, he can speak English and Spanish. He has been teaching for 21 years and is a real mountain-lover.

This instructor started skiing when he turned three and practiced competitive skiing from 5 to 20. Thereafter, he became a ski instructor- an occupation he enjoys and during which he appreciates being only with his customer in truly magical places! For this nature-lover, teaching is an essential moment during which he can share his passion for skiing while disclosing wonderful off-piste spots of the Espace Killy as well as fabulous surrounding resorts. Since the beginning of his career, Sébastien has kept wonderful memories, especially when he gave heliski lessons in Italy. At the same time, this instructor was blown away when he carried out several trips in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Andorre, or else Austria. Sébastien likes travelling for his own pleasure and practicing others of his favourite sports- mountain biking and surfing. 

This instructor, who enjoys wonderful sceneries, could not be more satisfied in working in Tignes Le Lac, a resort he considers as being one of the most beautiful skiing areas in the world. His favourite slope there? L’Aiguille du Chardonnet, where he likes practicing over and over again his favourite sport!

For Sébastien, the ESF, where he shares his knowledge to his learners, reminds him values which are in line with his vision of pedagogy, namely, professionalism and sharing.
