Mathieu’s passion for sports led him to become a trainer.

Mathieu is a competitive trainer. Armed with 21 years of experience, he instructed in France, Austria, Switzerland and in Italy and has acquired a solid knowledge in this area as he himself participated in competitions. Originally from Jura, this instructor has been providing classes in French, but also in English, and is always involved in helping his learners. In order to do so, his watchwords include pleasure and perfection, but also a will to build wonderful memories. Passionate about sports and competition, Mathieu could not have expected a better opportunity than working in Tignes and training for competition: ‘I had always dreamt of coming to Tignes, for it is the most sporting resort!’, he asserts. He can now enjoy the wonderful slopes the area offers, especially the slalom stadium, his favourite one, although he likes all the slopes of the resort.

Apart from teaching, Mathieu also works as a physical and mental trainer; an activity that he started practicing after once he had his Master’s degree in sports training, as well as his degree in physical and mental preparation. Concurrently with these two activities, this trainer also practices kitesurfing, tennis, running, as well as reading.
