‘We have a skiing area for all levels of skiers, with an extraordinary playing area’

About

Théo, who has been practicing and teaching for several years, likes the sensation of freedom this sport conveys!

Although Théo started skiing when he was three, he really liked this sport from his 13, and especially the feeling of freedom it conveys. He then participated in several competitions: from 2007, he participated in French and European Cups, as well as World Cups in mogul skiing, and was rewarded French Champion in the Youth category. The following year, he finished 2nd in the overall ranking in youth races, and then 3rd during the European cup of Sauze in 2011. The following years, victories came one after another until 2017. Thanks to all these years of competition, Théo had the opportunity to travel around the world: in Europe, but also in Canada, the USA in Japan, China, South Korea...This allowed him to realise that Tignes is ‘a ski resort for all levels, with an extraordinary playing area’. He considers Trolls in Tignes Le Lac as being one of the most beautiful slopes in the world, along with Tazawako in Japan, Nabob in the USA, Eturinteet in Finland and Flying Mile in Canada.

Théo teaches since 2014 in the ESF of Tignes, the resort where he is from; for him, the ski school is made of ‘enthusiasts and ski professionals’. Specialised in freestyle and mogul skiing, this occupation allows him to share his passion. This instructor offers his lessons in French and in English, and adopts a playful teaching method while remaining technical, so that his learners can improve while having fun.

Although skiing is Théo’s passion, he also likes travelling, and all kinds of sliding sports.
