For Thierry, skiing means putting pleasure before anything else!

Thierry Blanc is an instructor specialised in competition. He has been teaching his passion for around thirty years now- namely, skiing. Originally from Tignes, he has taken up the habit of sliding on the resort’s slopes, especially on Sache and Tovière, which are among his favourite ones. But for him, the most beautiful slopes in the world remain Kitzbuehel, La Face de Bellevarde, and Adelboden in Switzerland!

This ski instructor started skiing when he was five years-old and then practiced competitive skiing. Driven by his love for competitions, he now works all year as an instructor within the ESF. According to him, this resort shares values, such as pleasure and emotion, values which reflect his way of teaching. For Thierry, indeed, becoming a ski instructor was a way to share what he had the opportunity to learn during his years of competition, but also transmitting the joy which he felt throughout this experience. From each of the skiing expeditions he carried out, he experienced much pleasure, and that is what he wants to communicate to his learners.

Apart from skiing, Thierry is also fascinated by other sports, such as football and mountain bike, which he practices with as much pleasure as skiing.
