‘When there’s a will, there’s a way’!

About

For Mégane, it seemed obvious to settle in Tignes!

Mégane started skiing when she was two. She was encouraged by her father, himself working as a ski instructor, and by her two sisters. She then practiced mogul skiing in competition and reached the European Cup's top 10. Mégane also twice won the Coupe de France race and finished several times Vice French Champion. What does she like in skiing? Observing the landscapes, but also using her skis as a means of transport without getting tired and sharing wonderful moments with everyone.

Mégane then taught in Gets, an experience which allowed her to discover another way of teaching, before working in the ESF, which for her represents the cornerstone of the French practice of skiing.

She now teaches in the resort of Tignes, where she originally comes from: ‘I have always lived in Tignes, and for me it was obvious to settle there’, she confides. Even though Mégane loves skiing in peace and quiet on the beautiful slopes this skiing area offers, she likes it as much as when she started teaching, five years ago, in French and in English. This instructor is specialised in advice, improvement and discovery. If she decided to teach after she saw her parents offering skiing lessons, it is especially because of her passion for skiing. Actually, Mégane tries to meet her learners’ different expectations, and keeps the smile of each of them as a memory. She especially recalls the acknowledgments of a woman who was at first frightened about sliding.

Apart from teaching, Mégane is a mother and works as a waitress. She also has multiple hobbies, such as climbing and hiking- there’s no time to get bored!
