Raphaël started skiing when he was a child and never stopped since then! 

Raphaël, who comes straight from Belgium, started skiing when he was 18 months and never stopped since then; he even took part in competitions. Raphaël likes everything concerning skiing, especially the environment and high level practice. He already skied in several foreign countries, in which he had the opportunity to teach: Belgium, Austria as well as Switzerland, experiences from which he keeps wonderful memories. For him, these countries count the most beautiful slopes in the world: Kitzbühel in Austria, Alta Badia and Bormio in Italy, Wengen and Adelboden in Switzerland.

It has been twenty years that he has taught competition and snowboard in French, English and Italian in Tignes. Raphaël arrived in this skiing area twenty years ago and never left it. He has been roaming the slopes cheerfully, especially Palafour, his favourite one. He offers his lessons in the ESF, a ski school he appreciates: ‘ESF is like a slalom stadium, and its history is rich and vivid.’

Passionate about skiing and teaching, Raphaël today practices an occupation that he truly loves. He focuses his teaching on a clear and accurate method in order to share his knowledge in the best possible conditions. Among his best teaching memories, Raphaël likes recalling his instructor training and when he was working as a trainer for the sports club- memories that still make him smile.

Concurrently with skiing, Raphaël also teaches golf, an activity he also likes, and practices many other sports.
