Though David arrived at Tignes by chance, he decided to stay there because he became aware of its great potential.

David comes from Hautes Alpes, where he formerly taught. He gives off-piste lessons in the resort of Tignes in French and in English. If David decided to become a ski instructor 20 years ago, it is mainly because of his passion for mountains, which then led him to Tignes Le Lac. When he discovered the resort, David became aware of the ‘high potential of its off-piste skiing area’, and decided to teach there. He especially appreciates the sector of Grand Motte.

Between David and skiing, this is as true love story; this instructor started skiing when he was three and immediately loved it, just as well as other sports- as long as they enable him to enjoy the mountain environment. Then, David participated in skiing and snowboarding competitions and carried out skiing expeditions abroad, especially in Morocco and in Iceland. But for him, the most beautiful slope in the world remains La Sache in the resort of Tignes.

Although David is a ski instructor in Winter, he works as a sailing instructor during warmer seasons, during which he likes making the most of two other passions, namely, surfing and travelling.
