Sophie always shows patience when transmitting her knowledge to her learners!

Sophie has been teaching skiing and snowshoeing in ESF Tignes Le Lac, where she has lived since she is four year-old. For this instructor, this resort is a true heaven-especially the slope of Kadjar, which she has a fondness for- and considers herself very lucky to be able to work there. She has been practising for 18 years in a good working atmosphere; this is how she is trying to communicate her passion for skiing and for mountains. During her classes, Sophie always shows patience with her learners in order to make every lesson a real moment of pleasure. The ski school where she works is therefore in line with her teaching, which for her reflects her passion for skiing as well as the values supported by the ESF.

As her parents both work as ski instructors, Sophie has been practising skiing from her earliest childhood. Above anything else, she enjoys being in nature as well as the sensation of sliding! For 15 years, she practised alpine skiing before starting free-ride and ski cross.

Apart from providing ski lessons, Sophie works as a scuba diving instructor and as a producer of documentary films. She likes sports, nature and even reading, for her own pleasure! She also likes travelling: for her, Kitzbühel is one of the most beautiful slopes in the world!
