Competitions, off-piste, snowboard- Clément is passionate about all winter sports!

Clément comes from Carcassonne. Driven by his passion for skiing, he has taught to novices of class 1, class 2 and snowboarding in Tignes Le Lac for two months. Even though Clément has started teaching only recently- with an approach he considers as simple and effective- he has already collected many memories with his learners. He especially recalls a class 2 in snowboard, when the slopes were covered with powder snow. The group and the snow were both very pleasant, and everyone had a great time!

Clément arrived in Tignes thanks to internships when he was in secondary school, and never left the resort since then. Today he teaches in the ESF, which for him reflects the instructors’ desire to pass on their passion to any type of audience enjoying the same sport. 

When he was four, this instructor started learning skiing in this resort; he liked it so much that he was delighted every time he had a lesson. Now, he knows the skiing area like the back of his hand, and especially Troll, his favourite one. When he was a teenager, he practiced snowboarding and trained for competition. He really got involved into his training and improved rapidly. Thus, Clément participated in a few races and stepped on grand prix podiums of his category. He has always loved off-piste for the untouched and noiseless environment in which he develops.

Apart from skiing, Clément works as a lifeguard in summer, and he studies sports in a college during the rest of the year. Through these two occupations, he particularly enjoys ‘being in contact with people and feeling useful. It is also pleasant to work in these conditions, by the waterside or in the middle of mountains.’

Although he also likes cycling, swimming and running, Clément remains passionate about mountains and skiing, which he has already practiced in Italy. His favourite slopes include Kitzbühel in Austria, Bellevarde, Lanche, and Rocord.
