Even after 34 seasons to her credit, Cécile still enjoys seeing the joy and smiles on her learner’s faces!

Originally from Font-Romeu, Cécile speaks French, English, Russian and Spanish, four languages which allow her to communicate with her learners when she gives a lesson. This instructor introduces skiing to novices and experienced learners, children and adults alike, and snowboarding to beginners. Although she has been teaching for 34 seasons, she is always driven by the same passion for skiing and by her desire to transmit and to share. For Cécile, establishing a friendly relationship of confidence is the key to assure a progressive and quality learning process to her learners, whose she likes seeing the joy and smiles on their faces during every lesson. In the eyes of this instructor, the important thing is that everyone has fun, and it is always rewarding when they seem happy to see her again.

Cécile started skiing when she was two and a half, and later participated in competitions with the Espoir team of Tignes. After she instructed in Font-Romeu, St-Moritz, Verbier and Val d’Isère, she now teaches in this resort, where she loves practicing skiing, especially on the slopes Double M, Grattalu and Trolles. For her, the ESF in which she gives her lessons reflects the knowledge of the mountain, competence, but also versatility, and she likes transmitting her passion for skiing there.

If Cécile loves sharing her knowledge, she also likes practicing this sport on her own and enjoying the beauty of the landscapes and of the surrounding nature. Skiing abroad was also an experience which filled her with wonder when she discovered other environments, for example in Nepal, Iceland, Chamonix-Zermatt and Europe. She keeps wonderful memories from these expeditions, and considers Streif, La Verte, Hahnensee, Sarenne, La Face de Bellevarde and Le Grand Couloir as part of the most beautiful slopes in the world.

Apart from skiing and going abroad, Cécile has multiple activities; she is also passionate about scuba diving, motorbiking and trekking!
